Friends, family, fellow athletes and partiers!!!

It is that time again... The 2nd annual Paradise Found Fundraiser for Challenged Athletes Foundation at the Blue Foot Bar & Lounge in North Park.

My good friend Scott Crosby and I are hosting a fundraiser for the Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge this Saturday.

This fundraiser is to help Our US Iraqi War Vets who have lost limbs in battle while defending yours and my freedom. This fundraiser also supports kids who have been born with birth defects. This is a time to be with friends, and meet new friends...

My High school buddies (Adam and Cuong) at the Blue Foot Bar have agreed to host this annual party again. They are donating a portion of total bar sales for the evening.

So, please drink, be merry and buy more drinks for your friends.

We will have sweet raffle prizes for the evening plus we will be hosting a silent auction and a live auction... Make sure you bring your credit cards with you. All items are 100% tax deductible.

Some of the items we'll be auctioning off:

Challenged Athletes Foundation Fund Raising

Please Click Here to Help By Donating (100% tax deductible)

I will be supporting the Challenged Athletes Foundation again this year by riding my road bike (Oct 20th-26th) over 600 miles down the coast of California from San Francisco to San Diego in the 2nd annual Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge Ride. Our goal is to raise over $1,000,000 which will be granted to hundreds of Iraqi war veterans who have been severely injured and have lost legs, arms, eye sight etc. I will then be competing in the 14th annual CAF Half Iron Man which will be held at La Jolla Cove on Sunday Oct. 28th.

Please support this amazing organization!

CAF Million Dollar Challenge

Last years' ride was such an unbelievable experience I am riding again and I need your help to raise some money. Check out my pictures from last year:

The QUALCOMM Million Dollar Challenge is an unforgettable seven-day, 600-mile journey down the breathtaking California coastline from San Francisco to San Diego. The ride begins on Saturday, October 20 with an arrival in San Diego on Friday, October 26. Participants have the option of riding a final stage on the 56-mile bike course used for the San Diego Triathlon Challenge on Sunday, October 28. The QUALCOMM Million Dollar Challenge riders will play a memorable role in that day’s “celebration of abilities.”

Participation includes a fully supported ride, including hotel accommodations for seven nights, daily breakfast, lunch and most dinners, tour leaders, sag wagons, mechanical support, first aid, massage, and bike transport from Southern California to San Francisco prior to the start of the ride. Each rider will be outfitted daily with MDC-branded cycling apparel and have the opportunity to take part in a 20-week training program, including group rides in San Diego, weeknight skill workouts, indoor cycling classes and a customized training manual.

The money raised for the QUALCOMM Million Dollar Challenge will help seed a capital campaign for the construction of a Challenged Athletes Foundation headquarters facility, unless otherwise directed by the donor, in which event, such donations will be applied towards the payment of additional handcycles, racing chairs, sports chairs and sports prosthetics for challenged athletes, as well as help subsidize their competition and training expenses.
